Business Fit For Future
Cut costs and carbon with Fit for Net Zero scheme
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Wiltshire can apply for free energy health checks and grants to install carbon-saving measures through our new Fit for Net Zero scheme.
Fit for Net Zero is open to SMEs operating within the Wiltshire Council area to apply for a free, detailed energy efficiency survey, with up to half the cost (to a maximum of £30,000) available to install recommended measures. Examples of funded improvements include more efficient heating systems, insulation, lighting upgrades and renewable energy installation.
Sustainability charity Severn Wye Energy Agency, which delivered the recent Target 2030 programme to support 102 Wiltshire businesses, will be carrying out the energy efficiency surveys and recommending the most effective measures for businesses to take. Later this year, a series of training events will be held, open to all SMEs and designed to help business leaders understand how to improve energy use and become more resilient to fluctuating energy prices.
The scheme will close in March 2025 or sooner depending on the numbers of applications received.
To apply for a Fit for Net Zero free energy efficiency survey and a bespoke action plan recommending the best carbon-saving measures for your business, apply to Severn Wye via email [email protected] or visit: Business Energy Services for Wiltshire SMEs – Severn Wye
